The Santa Clarita City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, November 26, at 5:30 p.m., followed by its regular meeting at 6 p.m.
The special meeting will be a closed session for the annual performance evaluation for City Manager Ken Striplin.

The Council will reconvene at 6 p.m. for the regular meeting, which will begin with an announcement from the City Attorney.
In the regular meeting, councilmembers will, among other agenda items: recognize November as “Homeless Awareness Month”; approve the acquisition of 2.7 acres of real property contiguous to city-owned Canyon Country Park; award a contract to Gillig Corporation for the purchase and delivery of four CNG powered 30-foot transit buses; approve plans and award contract for construction of the Vista Canyon Regional Transit Center; conduct a second reading and adopt of an Ordinance for Prezone 19-001 (Master Case No. 19-115), to prezone approximately 1,786 acres associated with the Tesoro del Valle Annexation Area (Annexation 19-001); consider a proposal to upgrade the City Council Chambers and Century Room audio-visual setups; award a $25,000 one-time grant to the SCV Historial Society yo replace the roof on the Newhall Ranch House, located in Heritage Junction Historic Park; and adopt the 2019 California Building Standards Code with local amendments.
The November 26 meetings will take place in Council Chambers at City Hall, 23920 Valencia Blvd., Santa Clarita 91355.
