The City of Santa Clarita Public Library is excited to open the Parent-Teacher Enrichment Resource Center at the Valencia Library, providing parents and home educators with a collection of free educational resources and learning materials for students in kindergarten through high school.
The Enrichment Resource Center includes an assortment of teaching aids, textbooks, and learning materials tailored to the educational needs of instructors as well as local public, private, and homeschool students. All materials in the Enrichment Resource Center are available for free and follow state grade level standards.
In addition to these resources, the Enrichment Resource Center offers a variety of print and audiovisual materials with books on teaching, special needs education, learning theory, artwork and parenting. Test-preparation materials and hard-to-find titles selected from curricular book lists with engaging activities are also available for checkout at the Valencia branch.
Community members must present a Santa Clarita Public Library card to checkout materials from the Parent-Teacher Enrichment Resource Center. To obtain a free library card, visit any Santa Clarita Library or register online at santaclaritalibrary.com.
