Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan posted his seventh ballot counting update for the Nov. 6 General Election on Wednesday afternoon.
The update includes 51,933 ballots processed since Election Night, consisting of Vote by Mail and Provisional ballots. The total election results count is now 3,011,187 which is 57.90 percent of eligible Los Angeles County voters.
The estimated number of outstanding ballots left to be counted is 51,000 consisting of the following:
* Provisional ballots: 51,000
These results are subject to change throughout the Official Election Canvass period as our canvass staff process VBM envelopes and de-process precinct supplies. This estimate includes additional Vote by Mail Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day and received through Friday, Nov. 9.
The election is tentatively scheduled to be certified on Friday, Nov. 30. The final update on Friday will only include the portion of the remaining outstanding ballots that are verified and qualified for counting.
