The mission of SDFHC is to enhance wellness by providing quality primary health care, dental and mental health services to unserved and underserved residents, with a special emphasis on serving the uninsured. In addition to the Val Verde Health Center, SDFHC operates two other health centers in Newhall and Canyon Country with two satellite locations on the college campus of California Institute of the Arts and College of the Canyons.
As the only non-profit health center founded and based in the Santa Clarita Valley, SDFHC serves the greater Santa Clarita Valley and is governed by a local board of directors.

This is a good story about a great organization (SDFHC). But there is no mention of the location of this event, not the ID’s of those pictured. In the glory days of The Signal (1960-80), it would be a firing offense not to mention the location and the ID’s (i.e., left to right). These are great people pictured here and they should be honored. Thanks for running this article.
