The Santa Clarita Christian Cardinals baseball team is the No. 1 ranked team in the CIF Southern Section Division 7 poll, which was released Monday.

The Cardinals, under head coach Garrick Moss, are 3-0 and have outscored their first three opponents 28-3.

The Valencia Vikings have moved up to the No. 4 spot in Division 1.  The Vikings are 4-1 with Foothill League play about to begin on Wednesday.
