SANTA CLARITA, Calif.— The Master’s College baseball team has gained a valuable pitching asset with the signing of Robert Winslow.
“The Masters College is where I have always wanted to go,” commented Winslow. “I am looking forward to getting a good spiritual and academic foundation for my future.”
The 6-5 righty from Saugus, California grew as a baseball player while pitching all four years at Saugus High School. In his time as a Centurion, Winslow won the school’s scholar athlete award, which attested to his hard work both on and off the field.
While attending The Master’s College, Winslow plans on majoring in Kinesiology and Physical Education. Winslow hopes to pursue a career in professional baseball.
Commenting on Winslow’s signing, Mustang baseball head coach Monte Brooks stated, “This hugely-talented and proven pitcher is an exceptional addition to our staff. He has two outstanding pitches that will dominate opponents. He has been extremely successful, but we feel his best days are ahead.”
This year, The Master’s College baseball team went 42-14 overall and 33-9 in the Golden State Athletic Conference with a first-place finish. While the team graduates seven seniors, a number of new quality recruits are coming in to replenish the roster and continue the team’s legacy of success.
