A man was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly attempting to stab multiple people in Valencia.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Cobra team detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating witnesses to a recent stabbing.

State Senator Fran Pavley introduced two bills addressing serious public safety that would help protect victims from released rapists.

California High Speed Rail Authority officials are planning to meet with leaders from Santa Clarita, Palmdale, Acton and Agua Dulce early next month.

Santa Clarita residents and officials are working to make the U-S Postal Service aware of their need to keep the Newhall Post Office.

Birthday cake, performances and fond memories were shared at the Leona Cox Community School’s 50th anniversary party on Friday night.
