The next meeting of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is set for Tuesday, Sept. 11, starting at 9:30 a.m.

The meeting will be streamed live [here].

Among other agenda items, the board will discuss a motion authored by Supervisors Kathryn Barger and Janice Hahn to review current mental health policies and resources for first responders.

The supervisors are also slated to vote on a motion by Supervisors Shiela Kuehl and Barger to express support for H.R. 4086, the Rim of the Valley Corridor Preservation Act, which would add more than 191,000 acres of the Rim of the Valley Corridor to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.

At its regular meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Santa Clarita City Council appointed a number of individuals to fill vacancies on city commissions.
