The Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival is looking to hire an intern for the summer. The position will be funded through a grant from the Los Angeles County Arts Commission Summer Arts Internship program.
“This is the third year we’ve had the honor of participating in the program,” said David Stears, executive director of the theater company. “Many of the students who work with us over the summer continue their education in the arts, entertainment, performance or production, and they mark their experiences with as significant to their education.”
The open position is a “festival intern,” and the successful candidate will assist with the activities during the summer festival. The position is full-time for 10 weeks in the summer.

The Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival presents a summer cultural series called LA SummerFest, an eclectic music, theatre, and special events. The festival includes “Shakespeare in the Park,” blues music, jazz concerts, America, a night of opera, a night of praise music and several events.
