The Board of Supervisors will consider the following changes to speed limits in unincorporated Castaic, Saugus and Stevenson Ranch on Tuesday:
1. Rescind a traffic regulation order for a 45 mph speed limit zone on Industry Drive between Hasley Canyon Road and Commerce Center Drive, unincorporated community of Castaic (Supervisorial District 5), as established on June 13, 1996.
2. Adopt a traffic regulation order establishing a 50 mph speed limit zone on Industry Drive between the westerly terminus of Industry Drive and Commerce Center Drive, unincorporated community of Castaic (Supervisorial District 5).
3. Adopt a traffic regulation order establishing a 30 mph speed limit zone on Mariel Way between Castille Lane and Plum Canyon Road, unincorporated community of Saugus (Supervisorial District 5).
4. Adopt a traffic regulation order establishing a 35 mph speed limit zone on Heller Circle between Plum Canyon Road and Whites Canyon Road, unincorporated community of Saugus (Supervisorial District 5).
5. Rescind a traffic regulation order for a 45 mph speed limit zone on Poe Parkway from a point 1,200 feet east of Mallory Drive to Stevenson Ranch Parkway, incorporated community of Stevenson Ranch (Supervisorial District 5), as established on February 13, 2001.
6. Adopt a traffic regulation order establishing a 50 mph speed limit zone on Poe Parkway between the westerly terminus of Poe Parkway located 1,200 feet west of Mallory Drive and Stevenson Ranch Parkway, unincorporated community of Stevenson Ranch (Supervisorial District 5).
PURPOSE/JUSTIFICATION OF RECOMMENDED ACTION
The purpose of the recommended action is to improve traffic safety, enhance traffic flow, and provide adequate parking for disabled persons. The requests for these traffic regulations were either generated by the residents and/or community groups of the respective communities noted in the Board letter or as a result of roadway improvements.

How do the speed limits in Santa Clarita even matter when there are un-synchronized traffic signals every block? Driving in this town is a joke. Keep up the great work.
Since January 2021, I have witnessed 4 traffic accidents it’s the intersection of Hasley Canyon Road and Cambridge Ave. This is a lot of accidents . Could it be possible to limit the speed? Thanks a million
