New positive samples of mosquitos infected with West Nile Virus has been discovered in Lakewood and Reseda, the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District reported Friday.
Mosquito samples infected with West Nile virus have been collected from 13 cities in the district so far in 2019.
While no West Nile Virus-carrying mosquitos have been found this year in the Santa Clarita Valley, the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District reminds residents that the mosquito season is not over yet.
