A 20-year-old Lancaster man was arrested Thursday night for recklessly causing the Towsley brush fire, according to a news release from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Around 1:55 p.m. on Thursday, the station was notified of a brush fire on the 23900 block of The Old Road in Newhall.
A suspected shoplifter is believed to be linked to a bizarre paintball gun attack outside Hobby Lobby on Monday, officials said.
The initial call went out as “shots fired” outside the Hobby Lobby arts and crafts store in Valencia, according to Sheriff’s Station reports.
