Smoke from wildfires burning in the region has caused unhealthy air quality in the Santa Clarita Valley, according to the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
An air quality advisory has also been issued for the following areas:

– Northwest Coastal L.A. County

The Santa Clarita Valley was filled with smoky skies and the smell of fire Friday morning but no local fires have been reported.
“We have no reports of any active fires in the Santa Clarita area as of now,” said Inspector Randall Wright with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
