SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Looking to a strong future, The Master’s College women’s volleyball team has signed Modesto, California native, Haley Taylor.
“I chose The Master’s College because I wanted a place where I could grow both in the game and spiritually,” commented Taylor. “I knew that continuing my education at TMC would fulfill both of those needs. I also chose TMC because of the close, family-like atmosphere and how welcomed I felt by all of my future teammates. I’m most looking forward to playing volleyball and achieving my dream of playing on the collegiate level. I’m also really excited about starting my career in athletic training.”
The 5-10 outside hitter enters TMC after crafting a resume at James C. Enochs High School where she was a CSF member and earned scholar-athlete honors each year. On the court, in 2014, Taylor led her squad to a Modesto Metro Conference title.
Looking forward to her time at TMC, Talyor looks to major in Kinesiology & Physical Education in order to prepare for a career as an athletic trainer.
“I want to grow as a player and always make a difference for the better on the court,” said Taylor. “I also want to work hard and help the team become first in our conference.”
Commenting on Taylor’s addition, TMC volleyball head coach Allan Vince said, “I believe Taylor will play a strong role to our team as we are developing a culture amongst our athletes of
professionalism and commitment. I’m excited to see how she will impact our team in the coming years.”
The Lady Mustangs finished their 2014 campaign with a 19-12 record. With the addition of Taylor and a slew of returning veterans, TMC looks to build off its last campaign with hopes of pursuing an NAIA national title.
