Sam Eisenhuth has made himself at home at Moon Valley Country Club in Phoenix.
The Master’s University men’s golf team played its final match of 2017 at Moon Valley — Eisenhuth won the individual title.
The Mustangs returned to the course Monday and Tuesday for the ACU Spring Invitational — Eisenhuth tied for fourth overall.
The Master’s senior shot a final-round 69 Tuesday to finish at 2-under for the tournament. He carded a 70 in round one and a 75 in round two, both on Monday.
As for the rest of the Mustangs, the week could have gone better. They finished 13th out of 14 teams.
“This tournament was one of the toughest for us as a team that we’ve had in a while,” said coach Jason Semelsberger. “With the exception of Sam, the rest of the team was out of sorts. We’ll look closely at some areas to be able to move on and play well at our home event in a few weeks.”
The TMU Spring Invite is set for Feb. 26 and 27 at Sand Canyon Country Club in Santa Clarita.
