The Valencia Water Company donated 60 turkeys Tuesday morning to the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center in Val Verde.
The turkeys, given in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, were distributed to families from all three of the health center locations in Val Verde, Newhall and Canyon Country. SDFHC also provided some of their own giveaways for the families as well.
“We are grateful to Valencia Water Company for the donations to the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center clinic locations in Val Verde, Newhall and Canyon Country,” said SDFHC Board Chairperson, Gloria Mercado-Fortine. “It has been a great partnership to serve the needs of our community.”
