Diamond FarnsworthAnother western star was inducted to Newhall’s Walk of Western Stars on Thursday night as part of the “Country Throwdown” themed SENSES block party on Main Street.

Stunt coordinator, Diamond Farnsworth, unveiled his new star in front of Marigold Salon in Newhall.

Farnsworth has worked as a film and television stuntman since 1968 and a stunt coordinator since 1980. He has worked in the Santa Clarita Valley off and on since he was a child. Farnsworth has been in over 50 feature films and over 500 episodes of primetime television shows.

“I started shooting here early in my career starting at Disney Ranch when I was a kid,” said Farnsworth. “It’s changed a lot from the old days to now but I live here and its a great place, I think, to live.”Walk of Western Stars

Farnsworth is not the first in his family to receive the honor of being inducted to the Walk of Western Stars. His father, Richard Farnsworth, was inducted in 2000.

“That’s kind of an honor to me to have something like that, it means a lot to me,” said Farnsworth.
