Wesco Aircraft, a leading provider of comprehensive supply chain management services to the global aerospace industry, announced Monday it has received a 2011 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Wesco Aircraft maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2010, to Sept. 30, 2011.

This year, Boeing recognized 529 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Wesco Aircraft is one of only 407 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.

Randy Snyder, Wesco Aircraft’s Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer said, “The BPEA award is a validation of our efforts to provide exceptional service to Boeing. We are honored to receive this award and take pride in our ability to deliver safe, reliable products to our customers across the commercial and military aerospace markets.”

Wesco Aircraft has been providing parts and value-added services to Boeing for more than three decades, supporting both Commercial and Military platforms.
