Senator Scott Wilk (R-Antelope Valley) honored local restaurant, Wolf Creek Restaurant and Brewing Company, as his Small Business of the Month.

“Wolf Creek is a community treasure. Great food, service and atmosphere make this local establishment popular – but it is the generosity of its owners Rob and Laina McFerren that make it a treasure,” said Wilk. I wanted to call attention to their hard work and dedication to our community.”

April 1 will mark the 20th anniversary Wolf Creek Restaurant and Brewing Company. Owners, Rob and Laina McFerren are long-time supporters of many community activities and have made it a point to donate their time as well as their products to everything from the Child and Family Center to College of the Canyons. One would be hard pressed to find a non-profit in our community that hasn’t been a beneficiary of Wolf Creek Restaurant and Brewing Company’s generosity. Always looking for a way to ‘give back’ to a community that gave them so much, the McFerrens recently chose Santa Clarita as the location to build their new production facility.

“It is an honor to be recognized as Senator Wilk’s Small Business of the Month. As we approach our 20th anniversary, it has been great to reflect on the expansion of our business and the amazing community that has contributed so much to our growth. Receiving this recognition from Senator Wilk is an honor as well as a great way to kick off our upcoming anniversary,” said Liana McFerren, co-owner of Wolf Creek Restaurant and Brewing Company.

Wilk presented the McFerrens with a Senate Certificate commemorating the award. Many customers, friends and family were there to join in the festivities. A good time was had by all.
