The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center will host a FREE security recruitment event on Friday, August 15, 2014 for several immediately available security guard positions, as well as an H&R Block Seasonal Recruitment Event on Friday, August 22, 2014. Both events will be held at College of the Canyons in Suite 250 at the University Center, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road.
The security guard recruitment will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15 to fill multiple full-time, part-time and back-up positions available through Pacific Protection Services, Inc. Job seekers must be 18 years of age, have a clean criminal background, able to pass a drug test and available for work immediately. All job seekers are encouraged to arrive on or before 10:00 a.m., allowing time to park and sign-in.
Interested applicants are encouraged to dress to impress, have multiple copies of their resume as well as credentials, a valid/current BSIS guard card, and a State issued ID such as Driver’s License and Social Security Card or Passport. Onsite interviews, background checks, and drug screenings may be conducted for applicants who best meet the qualifications of the employer.
The H&R Block Seasonal Recruitment Event will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22. The career fair-style event will seek to fill several open positions available with H&R Block, including office managers, tax professionals, and part-time and seasonal associates.
Competitive wages available with H&R Block will vary depending on the assignment and additional incentives including ongoing training, flexible hours and advancement opportunities. Jobseekers are encouraged to arrive on time, dress to impress, have multiple copies of their resume available and be prepared for onsite interviews. Registration is required.
