Zumper has released its Los Angeles Metro Area Report detailing several factors across 26 cities.
The Report analyzed active listings last month across metro cities to highlight the most and least expensive cities and those with the fastest growing rents. The California one bedroom median rent was $2,055 last month.
Santa Clarita was ranked 16th most expensive city to rent, with one bedroom apartments averaging lower that the state median.
–Santa Clarita experienced the largest monthly growth rate, up 5.9%.
–Huntington Beach was second, with rent climbing 3.9%.
–Inglewood ranked third, with rent increasing by 3.7% last month.
–Palmdale had the fastest growing rent, up 6.4% since this time last year.
–Inglewood saw rent climb 5.9%, making it the second fastest growing.
–Huntington Beach was third, with rent increasing by 4.4%.

–Beverly Hills ranked as the most expensive city with one-bedrooms priced at $3,020.
–Santa Monica was the second priciest, with rent at $2,900.
–Irvine ranked as third, with rent at $2,780.
–San Bernardino was the most affordable city with one-bedrooms priced at $1,450.
–Palmdale ranked as the second least expensive, with rent at $1,490.
–Corona was third, with rent at $1,540.

The Zumper Los Angeles Metro Area Report analyzed active listings that hit the market last month. Listings are aggregated by city to calculate median asking rents.
