Coordinating with CEO Homeless Initiative to loan vehicles to LAHSA for
Project Roomkey. Identifying facilities in each supervisorial district to serve as
cooling centers in response to heat wave advisories. Collaborating with City of
LA Parks and Recreation and DPH in developing a phased plan to re-open park

Probation: 966 staff are teleworking and 2,745 are working onsite.
Collaborating with the Archdiocese to develop a plan to enable tele-church for
all denominations of youths in institutions. Working with the courts to mitigate
the need to detain youth on violations and decrease population. Juvenile
Probation violations have decreased by 31% from January thru March, with
over 253 juveniles released from Halls and Camps. For more information

Public Defender: Discussed gradual reopening plans of countywide Courts

Public Library: Launched Great Read Away program online to assist young
customers and families with Library resources while home from school. Utilized
3D printers to produce 1,743 extenders and 430 headbands to be used with
protective face shields. Processed 25,465 new online card registrations. For

Public Social Services: Launched webpage to inform the public on how to
obtain food assistance, donate food, and how to volunteer. Surveyed
departments on existing food programs and food-related resources they may
have to support feeding programs and coordinated existing/expanding food
distribution events. 4,171 of staff are teleworking and 6,376 are working on-site.
