Natural History Museum: Continue oversight of museum sites, while
coordinating closures and information sharing with the Board of Trustees,
public, staff and community partners. Museum digital engagement continues
to be updated with educational resources, scientific and cultural content for

Probation: 301 youth are housed at juvenile halls and 213 are housed at
juvenile camps. To date, 797 youth have been tested for COVID-1 9. 822

Public Library: Processed a total of 37,773 new online card registrations.
Assessing library locations to include floor markers, directional arrows to
indicate traffic flow and stickers to remind the public to wear face coverings,

Public Social Services: Supporting the Emergency Food Security Taskforce
for a food distribution even at the Hollywood Bowl on June 17, 2020. 3,986
staff are teleworking, 177 are quarantined/isolated, and 6,610 are on-site.
Processing large influx of Cal Fresh applications (73% increase in cases from
last year) from individuals impacted by the COVID related economic crisis.
Issuing Cal Fresh benefits up to the maximum allowed per family, and
allowing Cal Fresh recipients to purchase groceries online from Walmart and
Amazon Processing new applications received online and via the Customer
