Children and Family Services (DCFS): 4,145 of staff assigned to telework,
35 staff are on COVID-19 related absences, and 1,704 are working on site.
The Office of Child Protection and regional offices are working to move 1,800

Health Services (DHS): Training newly hired EMTs to staff COVID-19
testing sites. Imperial County hospitals remain stressed from COVID-19
patient overload. LA County resurveying and re-evaluating all hospitals for
capacity to accept transfers and ease burden. Expecting delivery of PPE,
which will be distributed to health care facilities per established plans. Excess

Internal Services: Performed 178 COVID-19 related special cleanings.
Providing weekly maintenance to drive-thru COVID-19 testing clinics. 1,170

Medical Examiner-Coroner: Continue to provide COVID-19 testing on
decedents who are suspected of COVID-19 exposure. Continue to monitor
needs of mortuaries and funeral homes and providing equipment as
inventory allows. The Department stands ready to provide surge capacity
storage for area hospitals. 8% of workforce is teleworking, 15 are in
