William Chormicle

sbdc_lanetworkThe city of Santa Clarita, in partnership with the College of the Canyons Small Business Development Center, will host a series of three one-hour workshops covering various aspects of the entrepreneurial world.

The Entrepreneurial Series will take place on September 22, September 29 and October 6, at the Santa Clarita Business Incubator, located at 22704 9th Street in Newhall.

While some people naturally have the entrepreneurial spirit, this series allows attendees the opportunity to discover and explore the “entrepreneur in you.” The informational discussions will lead those considering the road of entrepreneurship to discover how entrepreneurial they are and highlight entrepreneurship as an option to generate income and cash flow. The series will also provide the necessary steps needed to start a formal business and explore how to develop a business model.

The three discussions will be led by Connie Sparks, Business Advisor at the College of the Canyons Small Business Development Center.

The Entrepreneurship Series will help kick off Santa Clarita’s participation in Innovate Los Angeles. In conjunction with Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation’s Center of Innovation, the mission of Innovate LA is to promote LA County as a leading global center for innovation and entrepreneurship rooted in boundless creativity and diversity.
