[KHTS] The seventh annual Wine Affair, “Sip, Stroll and Savor the Sounds,” hosted by Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley, brought hundreds of attendees to Town Center Drive on Sunday.
The annual event brought nearly 500 wine aficionados to 12 venues to benefit women’s health issues in Santa Clarita. Guests were offered three wine tastings at each venue and small plates of food and appetizers.
Greg Amsler, owner of Salt Creek Grille said the restaurant has participated in the Wine Affair for seven years.

“We’ve always been a supporter of Soroptimist International in the Santa Clarita Valley. We’ve been a part of the Wine Affair since the beginning. We believe in the good work that Soroptimist does. A lot of the great women of the Santa Clarita Valley are involved and we’re happy to be a part of it,” said Amsler.
Pam Ingram, president of Soroptimist International of Greater SCV, said she expected a very successful Wine Affair.
“This is the best Wine Affair ever,” said Ingram. “We have the most attendance, fabulous weather, more wine and beer, more venues and fantastic music.”
Ingram said proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit women’s health issues in the SCV, as well as other programs that benefit women.
