Parents, players and fans have known for some time that softball has become a very popular sport in the US. And, locally, at the high school level, our Foothill League teams represent with top-quality play. In a season running from late-February through April or early May, with around 20 or more games, each of the seven Foothill League softball teams will play the others twice, while continuing to play non-league games. At 3-1 in non-league competition, Castaic softball has started the season well. The Coyotes’ first Foothill League game will be at home vs. Saugus on Thursday, March 12 at 3:15 p.m.
