amgen031813The 2013 Amgen Tour of California is coming to the City of Santa Clarita with the Stage 3 Finish on Tuesday, May 14, and a Stage 4 Start on Wednesday, May 15.

Many cycling events will surround this years Amgen Tour of California, including:

* The Santa Clarita CenturySaturday, March 30, at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.

* The Santa Clarita Mayor’s RideSaturday, April 27, at Iron Horse Trailhead.

* Chuck Pontius Memorial RideSunday, May 12.

* 2013 Amgen Tour of California Viewing PartyMonday, May 13, at Salt Creek Grille.

* Bike to Work DayThursday, May 16.

* Senses “Rock the Bike” Block PartyThursday, May 16, on Main Street in Old Town Newhall.

Santa Clarita and City of Palmdale are joined as the two host cities for Stage 3 of the race. The City of Palmdale and Ride2Recovery have partnered up for the first ever Amgen Tour of California Honor Ride Palmdale, a self-paced, non-competitive ride to help raise funds for injured veterans, which will be held on Saturday, April 6, at Marie Kerr Park, located at 2723 Rancho Vista Blvd. in Palmdale.
