[KHTS] – A former Albert Einstein Academy basketball coach plead not guilty on Monday to charges of molestation, an official with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said.

Randolph “Randy” Jackson, 28, was arrested on a felony complaint filed Feb. 13 and is suspected of molesting five boys between the ages of 13 and 17 at various locations in Los Angeles, the prosecutor said.

The incidents allegedly occurred between November 2010 and September 2014.

Jackson is charged with seven felony counts, including one count of continuous sexual abuse, one count of oral copulation of a person under 16, three counts of attempted oral copulation of a person under 16 and two counts of lewd acts on a child, said L.A. District Attorney Spokesman Ricardo Santiago.

The first count, continuous sexual abuse, allegedly took place from Nov. 1, 2010, to March 10, 2011, according to the complaint.

Count 2, oral copulation with a minor, allegedly took place from May 1, 2011, to June 30, 2011, as did the third, fourth and fifth counts, attempted oral copulation.

The complaint also alleges a sixth and seventh count of lewd acts upon a child occurring between Aug. 1 and Sept. 30 of 2014.

If convicted, Jackson faces more than 30 years in state prison.

He is due back in court on Jan. 21, 2016 for pretrial.

Jackson took the helm of the Albert Einstein Academy for Letters, Arts and Sciences basketball program in 2014, after he was named Coach of the Year for the Omega League by his fellow coaches while he was at Delphi Academy in Lake View Terrace.

A school official said the high school was made aware of the allegations on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 and promptly placed Jackson “on administrative leave with pay until the investigation is resolved,” said Principal Edward Gika in a previous story.
