The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce announced its 14th annual Salute to Patriots event, as the business community comes together to salute veterans for leadership in the business community and their dedicated service to America.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. at the SCV Senior Center at Bella Vida, 27180 Golden Valley Road, Santa Clarita, CA 91350.

“The SCV Chamber is deeply committed to recognizing the invaluable contributions of our veterans, not only for their service to our country but for their continued leadership within our business community,” said Becki Robb, 2024 Chair of the SCV Chamber Board. “Salute to Patriots allows us to share their inspiring stories and celebrate their impact on the Santa Clarita Valley, making it a truly meaningful tradition for all involved.”

Salute to Patriots is a way to honor and pay special tribute to veterans. Their stories and experiences, not just during their service but also their community engagement, instill strong values and beliefs throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.

Each year, the SCV Chamber honors four to six veterans and nominations will be accepted until Friday, Oct. 25. The honorees will be announced the week of Oct. 27.

“This event is an opportunity for our community to come together and honor the incredible service and sacrifice of veterans whose dedication often extends far beyond the battlefield,” said Ivan Volschenk, President/CEO of the SCV Chamber. “We encourage everyone to participate by nominating those who have made a difference in our local community, and we look forward to an evening of shared respect and gratitude for these exceptional individuals.”

Nominations are open to all who have served the country and made an impact on the Santa Clarita Valley business community. Please note candidates running for office during an election year are not eligible.
