[Sen. Pavley] – Sen. Fran Pavley (D-27), who represents western portions of the Santa Clarita Valley, has opened a new headquarters office in Calabasas.

The office is located near the geographic center of the 27th Senate District in order to provide better access and service to all of her constituents.

During her first term in the Senate, Sen. Pavley served the old 23rd Senate District and maintained her district headquarters in Santa Monica. In the wake of the 2010 redistricting, Sen. Pavley successfully ran last fall in the new SD 27, which overlaps with much of her old district but does not include Santa Monica.

“Throughout my Senate campaign and the early days of the new Legislative session, it has been a joy to get to know my new constituents in the 27th District,” Senator Pavley said. “I look forward to the opportunity to continue to get to know these communities, and to continue to serve my entire district. These next four years are going to be important ones in determining the direction that California takes in the future.”

The location of Sen. Pavley’s new district headquarters is as follows:

5016 N. Parkway Calabasas, Suite 222

Calabasas, CA 91302

The 27th Senate District covers portions of four different area codes. With that in mind, we have acquired a phone number in each area code, so no constituent will ever have to pay for long distance charges for a voice call if dialing from a landline. Each of these numbers will reach our district headquarters.

Main phone (818) 876-3352

Alternate phones (805) 815-3917

(661) 263-2628

(310) 830-1961

Main fax (818) 876-0802

Sen. Pavley is proud to continue to represent the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu, and Westlake Village. Her new district also includes the cities of Moorpark, Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks, and portions of the city of Santa Clarita. As before, Sen. Pavley will continue to represent numerous other communities in the area as well, a group that now includes Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Encino, Porter Ranch, Reseda, Tarzana, West Hills, Woodland Hills and Winnetka.

Among the areas not included in the new district are the cities of Beverly Hills, Oxnard, Port Hueneme and West Hollywood, and the communities of Pacific Palisades, Sherman Oaks, Studio City and Universal City.

These areas are now represented by other senators. Much of Sen. Pavley’s old district is now in the capable hands of Sen. Ted Lieu, who represents the 28th Senate District. Constituents in even-numbered Senate districts will have their first opportunity to vote in the new districts in 2014.
