Eduardo Antonio Colocho[KHTS] – A registered Santa Clarita sex offender was sentenced on Monday after pleading no contest to molestation charges.

Eduardo Antonio Colocho, 36, was sentenced to two years in state prison on Monday, said Jane Robison with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Colocho pleaded not guilty to one count of felony molestation or annoyance of a child under 18 with a prior sex crime conviction on Friday, Nov. 13.

He was arrested on July 13, 2015 at 11:50 a.m. by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials and his bail was set for $170,000, according to arrest records.

Colocho has a prior sex crime conviction in 2006, “sodomy with a victim unconscious of the nature of the act,” according to the Megan’s Law website.

Play Video1:26The case against Subway’s Jared Fogle, explained

Jared Fogle, former spokesman for Subway, was charged in a federal court with paying for sex with minors and possessing child pornography. Here’s a look inside the charges and what investigators say he did. (The Washington Post)
Jared Fogle, who for years served as the spokesman for the sandwich chain Subway, is facing federal charges that he repeatedly paid to engage in sexually explicit acts with children and that he received and distributed child pornography, according to court documents.

Fogle, 37, will plead guilty to the charges, his attorney said Wednesday. He will also pay $1.4 million to 14 victims in restitution for counseling, support, treatment, or other assistance related to their victimization.

According to court documents released Wednesday by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Indianapolis, Fogle used Web sites to solicit commercial sex and traveled to engage in sexual acts with minors from 2007 until June 2015.

The documents also allege that Fogle received images and videos of nude children from Russell Taylor, who served as executive director of Fogle’s childhood obesity charity. Taylor also distributed pornographic images of children who were as young as six to Fogle, the documents allege.

They are all monsters, some just have the means and opportunity to be more prolific.

Physical, surgical castration, immediately. He is unfit for society. Gove hom what he has earned. A cell with NO protection and he can be a servant for the bigger prisoners .

  13. Dianne Swink says:

Travesty of justice , makes me sick , when ! when !! will the court system do more to protect children from future assaults by locking them away , jeez bank robbers get heavy sentences an it’s only money

  14. These monsters should never ever get a second chance…Hugs

  15. Put him on main line he will get what he deserves there.

  21. John Lazar says:

I’m sure the big boys in prison will love his kind. I hope he gets a bad taste of it every night.

  22. Marisol Solano says:

I went to sylmar high when he was arrested and he was my JV soccer coach , unfortunately he molested the boys.
He should have had a longer sentence in the first place.
