Why is it so difficult for Antonovich to address these children as citizens? They receive benefits because they are American citizens. What other group of his constituents does he consider to be second class citizens? Does he describe himself as “native-born” or as a US citizen? Their rights are equivalent to his. He should treat them with respect.
As of 2008, according to the Pew Center, an estimated 4 million anchor babies, had been born in our United States. Pew also reported that there were 340,000 anchor babies born in 2008, and that number is increasing each, and every, year. Since the 1986 Reagan Amnesty, using the above numbers, there have now been an estimated 5.5 million anchor baby births. The cost of anchor babies to U.S. taxpayers, just for birth, and education, excluding welfare benefits afforded them, runs into many 100’s of billions of dollars. . In 1900, the U.S. population was 76 million, today our population is 315 million … over a four fold increase.
When did it become acceptable to denigrate fellow citizens just because of their heritage? Why is the new racism so acceptable to so many?
Encourage and import poverty…see what you are left with. This out go of funds is simply unsustainable.
