Authorities have identified the 21-year-old victim of a fatal crash Thursday on Soledad Canyon Road.

Christian Zambrano was pronounced dead at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital after the single-vehicle collision occurred around 1 a.m. Thursday on Soledad Canyon Road and Valley Center Drive near Greenbrier Mobile Estates, said Lt. David Smith with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

The sedan struck the curb and a small block wall in front of the mobile home park before it overturned, trapping the driver.

Firefighters were able to extricate the occupant in about 20 minutes, according to Rick McClure, a firefighter who was at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Very sad…sometimes I’m in a hurry but hearing so many stories like this makes me want to wake my ass up earlier and leave earlier to get to work on time, and if I’m late then so be it, I rather get a right up or fired from a job than to end life this way, everyone be safe out there, prayers as always for the loss of any love ones ?

    • Clarice L Griffith says:

CA seems to be in a big hurry, but if we all thought if the speed limit is 60 mph, but we are driving 70 mph, and we really could drive an hour like this…it only gives us 10 extra minutes. Reality we don’t drive an hour, so when we rush we put others lives in danger and ourselves, AND we may gain 3 or 4 minutes. Is it really worth a life?
