The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and the FBI are searching for a man who robbed multiple Southern California banks last week, including one in Valencia.
A tweet sent out by the FBI Los Angeles addressed a man dressed in all white, dubbed the “Whitewashed Bandit,” and asked the public for help in identifying him.
According to the tweet, the man robbed two Orange County banks and one in Valencia on Feb. 10.

The robbery in Valencia occurred at 11:33 a.m. at the U.S. Bank located in the 28300 block of Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia, according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Public Information Officer Shirley Miller, in an email.
The suspect is believed to be a 35- to 50-year-old male, white adult, entered the bank and handed the bank teller a threatening note, demanding money.
The incidents are still currently under investigation.
