amgAMG & Associates Inc., an award-winning construction company headquartered in Santa Clarita — most recently named to the 2015 Inc. 5000 — begins work on three new construction projects that will benefit communities across California.

Santa Clarita, CA, August 27, 2015– AMG & Associates, Inc., (AMG) an award- winning Santa Clarita, California-based construction company, is slated to begin work on projects that will benefit communities across California, including those of El Camino College in Torrance, the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Beale Air Force Base near Marysville, and Rancho Cucamonga Middle School in Rancho Cucamonga. With such vital projects joining AMG’s already impressive roster, it is little wonder the company reported a 90 percent growth in revenue in FY2014 and was recently ranked 3533 on the 2015 Inc. 5000, marking the fourth time the company has been included on the prestigious Inc. list.

A parking garage at El Camino College in Torrance will be getting a seismic upgrade.

At El Camino College, AMG is overseeing the seismic upgrade of one the campus’s main parking structures. This $21.2M project involves the seismic retrofitting of a 760,000-sf, two-story, half-mile long parking facility and waterproofing the structure’s upper deck.

The El Camino Parking Structure Upgrade is the second project AMG is engaged in on the El Camino campus. AMG is also nearing completion of the College’s new Allied Health Building, a facility that will be used to train El Camino’s nursing students. The $10M state-of-the art medical building is set to open in December 2015.

In Northern California, at Beale Air Force Base, AMG is embarking on the AAFES Image Upgrade, a $1.6M renovation of a 28,000-sf commissary-like structure, which serves as a hub for the base.

AMG is also supervising the Rancho Cucamonga Middle School New Classroom Building and Playfield Improvements for the Cucamonga School District. This $1.3M project comprises the construction of a new building and playfield, along with track and field facilities, on the Rancho Cucamonga Middle School campus.

Additionally, the company recently completed the $2.5M Acquistapace Elementary School Building E project, the construction of a new classroom building at Acquistapace Elementary School in Santa Maria.

“It is deeply gratifying to play a vital role in the education and well-being of our state’s students and to have an opportunity to serve those who valiantly serve our country,” says Albert Giacomazzi, AMG’s President/CEO. “AMG is proud to benefit so many communities throughout California in these very meaningful ways.”

Its strange that this “award-winning” construction firm based in Santa Clarita does not have any construction jobs in Santa Clarita. The city’s campaign to keep $$$ spend in the community, doesn’t seem to apply to them.
