Sad. As I said before I don’t like motorcycle.
They drive like idiots on that canyon…it never adds surprises me to read these
I read that the motorcyclist drifted into oncoming cars lane. Yes ppl do drive like idiots but thats everywhere lately, not just in that canyon. Too many deaths in recent weeks in SCV. So sad. Rest in peace , Sir.
Although I agree that there are idiot drivers on Bouquet (both in cars and on bikes)not all of us who ride motorcycles are reckless thrill seekers.
O we ride too! I dont claim to bunch people in stereotypes….
I don’t like cars
So sad,
80 year old on a motorcylce? At least he went out a bad ass
I thought the same thing
80 year old. Died in his world. That is heaven to him
He was 80 years old and he died doing what he loved God bless him
So sad
God bless! I worry everyday with my lil brother on his motorcycle.. Crazy !! Safe driving xo
I was there it was the saddest thing ever ???????
Whos fault was it?
Sad but what’s bad ass still riding at 80. Hope no one else was hurt. And my thoughts go out to the others involved and the first responders.
RIP
Motorcycle drivers think they own the road. You should see how they pass us in the carpool lanes and we have to watch out for them!!! They are traveling way over the speed limit!!!
You don’t know the details of this incident. Have a little compassion.
You realize the motorcyclist was an 80 year old man, right? Not exactly the reckless type…..
What’s sad about this. Is you guys use this death as click bait! You wrote Alex and no last name. So people click the link and you get paid for monetizing. SUCH BAD taste from this site. SO BAD. Over and over
Alex Rubio is the CHP officer’s name. They didn’t list the name of the 80 year old man…
R.I.P. My Biker Brother!
I ride and car drivers are distracted by their phones. No one pays attention and it is legal to split lanes at a safe speed. Please pay attention ALL OF US NEED TO PAY ATTENTION!
I think an 80yr old dude should not be driving a motorcyle. At least he went doing something he enjoyed.
So sad ?
Thank u for sharing this accident report…it seems no matter how much u do though..someone thinks for a moment…it won’t happen to me and gets alittle careless .. that usually comes up to a badd decision … people. ..if u drive that cyn. Do it w respect n drive safely not stupidly n fast!!!
