Hello, residents of Canyon Country. My name is Hector M. Sanchez and I’m the new deputy assigned to Zone 8. I’ve been at Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station for approximately 7 years. I’ve worked a crime car on early mornings and day shift, I’ve also conducted traffic enforcement and worked at the Magic Mountain Sheriff substation. I’m very excited to be working in your neighborhood.
This past week in Zone 8, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
A robbery occurred near the 27300 block of Evi Lane. The victim was skateboarding near the pool area and was approached from behind and punched in the head by person(s) unknown. Person(s) unknown stole personal items from victim. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A burglary occurred near the 29300 block of O’Hare Court. Person(s) unknown entered the residence and ransacked the master bedroom and stole several items from the home. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A grand theft auto occurred near the block of 20200 Stevie Court. The victim reported their vehicle stolen and one suspect was arrested by deputy personal. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the block of 28900 Silver Saddle Circle. Person(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s vehicle. . This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
An attempt burglary occurred near the block of 16400 west Palomino Place. Person(s) unknown tore off the screen to her bedroom window and removed several other window screens to her residence windows. . This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A shoplifting occurred near the block of 19300 Golden Valley Road. One person was apprehended and arrested for shoplifting. . This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
