[KHTS] – As the November elections grows closer, the polling places for the William S. Hart Union High School District and Newhall County Water District elections have been announced.

Two seats are up for election for Newhall County Water District as well as the Hart School District in Trustee Area 1 and 4.
Incumbents Lynne Plambeck and Daniel Mortensen are seeking reelection in the upcoming Newhall County Water District election; they’ll be facing a challenge from Jeff Ford and Don Cruikshank.

Linda Storli will be running against incumbent Gloria Mercado-Fortine for Trustee Area 1, while Andrew Taban will be running against incumbent Steve Sturgeon for Trustee Area 4

Trustee Area Number 1 includes parts of northern Valencia, Castaic and Val Verde and Trustee Area Number 4 is mainly comprised of Canyon Country.

Only residents who live in Trustee Areas 1 or 4 will be able to vote in the upcoming Hart School District election.

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office has provided a polling place locator on their website to help residents find where to vote.
