An assault occurred at the 27500 block of Sierra Highway. Deputies found a male lying on the ground intoxicated and bleeding from his head. A vehicle burglary occurred in the 29000 block of Marylin Drive on March 30th, between 10:10 am and 10:15 am. The victim heard his garage door opening and when he went to see who was outside he saw that his car window was smashed and his garage door opener was stolen. A vehicle burglary occurred on Jason Drive and Flynn Drive, between March 27th, 6:00 pm and March, 28th 8:30 am. Suspect(s) tampered with the lock to the victim’s van and stole his work tools.

A shoplifting occurred at the Canyon Market on Soledad Canyon Road. The suspect stole several packs of gum and left the location. At the Kohl’s store, a male was seen concealing several pairs of jeans and then walked out of the store. When he was confronted by loss prevention, the suspect jumped into a vehicle and left the location. A male stole 2 cases of beer from the Von’s store and left the location.

There were 5 arrests made by proactive deputies for various narcotics violations, assaults and public intoxication.

Make sure to always park in well-lit areas and be cognizant of your surroundings. If you see any suspicious activity either close to your home or while you are out shopping, call the Sheriff’s station at (661) 255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency. I have received several complaints of people loitering on the bike path on Soledad Canyon Road and Sierra Highway. We have made numerous arrests for public intoxication in that area.
