Christi Larsen with son Cole.
The eighth annual Memorial Garden Tour in honor of fallen soldier Cole Larsen of Santa Clarita will be held Sunday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Larsen family has a variety of showcase gardens assembled that are scattered throughout Santa Clarita Valley.
This is a self-guided tour where your donation is a freewill offering. Donations benefit the Cole William Larsen Foundation, which supports families of fallen and wounded military.
Garden tour programs will be available at Green Thumb Nursery, Sunset Nursery, Green Landscape Nursery and other participating businesses in the Santa larita Valley.
For additional information, visit www.memorialgardentour.com or contact Christi Larsen at larsen@memorialgardentour.com.
Christi says: “My inspiration to organize this garden tour is my son, PFC Cole William Larsen, who was killed Nov. 13, 2004, while serving his country in Iraq. This tour is to honor the memory of my son along with all of our brave fallen and wounded military who have sacrificed life and limb for our country.”
Donations are gratefully accepted throughout the year.
