The Valencia Flyers Junior A Hockey Club is excited to announce our 4^th annual Showcase Event! Last years event had over 100 participants on the ice and representation from multiple NCAA Division 1 & 3 programs, ACAHA Division 1 programs, the USHL, NAHL, BCHL and several New England Prep schools. Several players received opportunities directly from this event. Now with the Flyers and the WSHL moving to Tier 2 status we anticipate even more scouts and opportunities for players! This years showcase is open to players born in 1995 through 2001.

The Showcase will be an excellent opportunity for you to play against top players, while also showing off your skills in front of scouts and coaches from Tier I  Junior Programs, East Coast Prep Schools and NCAA hockey programs from across the United States. Whether you are looking to play Junior hockey this season or are already committed to a team, this showcase promises to be a fun and challenging skate. The 2015 Valencia Flyers Showcase will be held July 17-19 at Ice Station Valencia.

Program representatives from various, USHL, BCHL, Prep Schools and NCAA Division I, III, and ACHA programs have already confirmed their attendance for this event.  A sampling of programs that will be in attendance are: Northern Michigan University (Division 1) the Lincoln Stars of the USHL, Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL, Minot Minotaurs NAHL, West Kelowna Warriors, Coquitlam Express and Langley Rivermen of the BCHL as well as Governors Academy, Lawrence Academy, Hebron Academy, Bridgton Academy and Vermont Academy.

The showcase includes 4 on ice sessions (1 practice & 3 games), a camp jersey, presentations from the guest coaches about their schools and programs as well as informational seminars explaining the various different paths available, academic requirements to play NCAA hockey, Prep School hockey, Strength Conditioning, Nutrition and its importance as well as much more. All seminars will be hosted by the guest programs and members of the Valencia Flyers Junior A staff.

Registration is open to all players born in 1995 through 2001. The cost for this event is $225.  All players must also register for membership in the AAU to participate. You may register for AAU at aausports.org and purchase the $16 athlete membership.
