Approval sought for funding and environmental documentation for nine multifamily affordable housing developments. (1-D , Item 17)
Supervisors Hahn and Barger instruct Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services and the Chief Executive Office to identify funding to implement the Bringing Our Loved Ones Home Task Force’s recommended strategies. (Item 2, Report, Presentation)
Supervisor Hahn directs the Chief Executive Officer and the Fire Chief to expedite a contract for polling services to determine support for new revenue opportunities to address critical infrastructure and fixed asset needs. (Item 3)
Supervisor Solis instructs a report back with a status of the Cal State IT Pilot Partnership program and a set of recommendations to extend the program to other institutions. (Item 6)
Supervisor Ridley-Thomas directs the Chief Executive Office and the Community Development Commission to provide input into the process for designating unincorporated census tracts within the County of Los Angeles by the Governor for Opportunity Zone designation. (Item 7)
Supervisors Kuehl and Ridley-Thomas instruct the Director of Planning to prepare four ordinances and report back to the Board, until their effectiveness can be monitored through the Affordable Housing Outcomes Report. (Item 8)
Authorization sought for the Director of Public Social Services to execute contracts for Domestic Violence Shelter-Based Program services for victims of domestic violence and their children. (Item 13)
Authorize the execution of a Participation Agreement with the California Mental Health Services Authority for the development of technology-based mental health solutions. (Item 14)
Authorize the execution of sole source Legal Entity agreements for the provision of mental health services provided by Institutions for Mental Diseases. (Item 15)
Appoint Ms. Monique King-Viehland to the position of Executive Director of the Community Development Commission/Housing Authority at an annual salary of $230,000. (Item 34)
Appoint Ms. Celia Zavala to serve as Acting Executive Officer, Board of Supervisors until an Executive Officer is appointed by the Board with an approved salary adjustment to $244,288. (Item 35)
