[KHTS] – Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley’s Eighth Annual The Wine Affair “Sip, Stroll and Savor the Sounds” was held Sunday afternoon on Town Center Drive in Valencia.
The Wine Affair was a sold-out event and attracted more than 500 guests who strolled between venues on Town Center Drive as they sampled wine and food tastings and listened to music. Many guests commented on the perfect weather the day offered for wine tasting.

General admission tickets were priced at $55 each.
Pam Ingram, co-chairwoman of The Wine Affair, said the event couldn’t have happened without the support of food and wine purveyors who donate their products and “to an amazing committee who put this event together.”
“This is the largest event we’ve ever had,” she said. “We have more sponsors, more venues, more food and wine. We’re expecting to have a great day.”
Ingram said the event benefited the service club’s efforts to help “women and girls in need.”
“This event supports our programs helping women in crisis, celebrating women and women’s health issues,” she said.
Fourth year Title Sponsor Myles McNamara, of Comfort Keepers In-Home Care, said Soroptimist International of Greater SCV “is an organization of wonderful women.”
McNamara said he always looks forward to sponsoring The Wine Affair.
