All traffic lanes on Bouquet Canyon Road have been reopened, after being closed for nearly two hours due to a power line failure near Susan Beth Way.
According to Lt. Mark Hershey of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s station, the cause of the wire failure is not known, but three vehicles collided near that location as they tried to avoid the hot wires, which were sparking in the road.
The roadway was completely closed at 11 a.m. as a precaution. Edison and AT&T crews responded to the scene, Edison fixed their lines, but AT&T are still at the location making last-minute fixes.
No one was injured in the collision.
