logo-lacodistrictattorney[KHTS] A man convicted of raping his daughter was sentenced to 143 years in state prison Monday, officials said.

A jury found Daniel Wisehart, 47 , of Canyon Country, guilty March 12 on all 30 charges.

Wisehart was accused of one count of lewd acts upon a child and 29 counts of rape against the victim, on charges that he repeatedly raped his daughter over a one-year period five years ago, according to a criminal complaint.

The victim’s mother found out about the allegations in May, and Wisehart was arrested, according to testimony presented in court.

The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Emily Cole of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

The case was investigated by the Special Victims Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Wisehart was arrested May 15 at 11:50 a.m., according to Sheriff’s Department arrest records. He’s been in custody since his arrest.

The crimes occurred between June 1, 2009, and June 30, 2010, officials said.

    Asqueroso. Que se pudra!

  5. 143 years vs. 1 bullet ummmm which one would cost more?

  6. Alex Burke Alex Burke says:

Dennis Ramirez: no accounting for inflation it cost about 45000 per year to house an Inmate in California. If the guy lived another 70 years would cost about 3.15 million. A .45 caliber bullet costs about 1.50

  7. I’m thinking once the inmates find out what he’s in for he might not make it to 143 days! Sick fuk!

  8. Bullet to the head would be better

  9. Blake Frye Blake Frye says:

    Another one bites the dust

  10. Betty Henner Betty Henner says:

    A well deserved sentence

  11. Lol.. No matter what you are going to pay taxes. You should already know that’s not a complaint, if he’s in jail or not those taxes will be paid.. Surest thing next to death. Just be happy the guy is off the streets. Just five years ago these bastards were only getting a couple years now finally the justice system is throwing the key away on these monsters

  12. He should get only 5 minutes…..That’s all it would take to shoot him in the head….

  13. Why not just kill him in a very inhumane way

  14. Tommy Rini Tommy Rini says:

Kill it before it breeds… Oh wait too late, burn it burn it alive burn it till it’s dead

  15. Tommy Rini Tommy Rini says:

no offense people going to put two and two together, by putting the name of the Father out one could figure out the name of the daughter that’s wrong! that’s victim shaming after the fact! this is why I believe that some stories should not be in the news you put it in here just for sensationalism this is not a story to warn or to show something better to the community around you

  16. What a waste of jail space!! He needs to suffer and die a slow painfully gruesome death. Choking on his own penis is one thing that comes to mind!

  17. Joey C Bavle Joey C Bavle says:

Any child hurt like that by any person, that person is worthy of the death penalty open season these mofos

  18. He’ll get his in JAIL

  19. Hope he likes blowing bubbles..

  20. why not the death penalty!

  21. Drop him in a inhabited and inhospitable island naked!

  22. Jamie McDaniel says:

This guy is scum. He definitely should die with a bullet in his head and maybe tortured before. Now a days they protect idiots like this in the prison. They are kept seperate and not in general public so they are harder to get to. California should definitely overturn the.death penalty for pieces of crap like this.

  23. Linda Becker Linda Becker says:

Send him to Utah for the firing squad to handle.
