[KHTS] – Dozens attended the 3rd annual SCV Charity Chili Cook-Off and raised about $30,000 for Santa Clarita Valley charities.
“It looks like we have about $30,000 that we’re able to split between the three charities,” said Nicole Stinson, founder of the event SCV Charity Chili Cook-Off Raises $30K For Santa Clarita Charitiand a real estate agent with the Estate Realty Group. “Last year, we raised $20,000 and we had to split that between five charities.”
This year’s event was held at the Hyatt Regency in Valencia on March 20.
The charities that benefited from this year’s SCV Charity Chili Cook-Off are Bridge to Home, LARC Ranch and Help The Children.
“The event went really well,” Stinson said. “We had great attendance and everyone had a great time.”
