Air quality is unhealthy for all individuals in the Santa Clarita Valley and sensitive individuals in the East San Gabriel Valley today, Monday, June 5, according to a news release from to the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
Los Angeles County Interim Health Officer Jeffrey Gunzenhauser, MD, MPH advises people living or working in the SCV with heart disease, asthma or other respiratory diseases to minimize outdoor activities.
Schools with children who have sensitive conditions, including heart disease, asthma and other chronic respiratory diseases, should not participate in outdoor physical activity and should stay indoors as much as possible.

As somebody who has Cystic Fibrosis which is a chronic and progressive lung and digestive disease, this could be why I am in severe pain and I am gasping for breath. Making the current exacerbation which I already have even more difficult to be breathing with.
