[LASD] – We had a reduction in Part-1 crimes over the past week. An armed robbery occurred last Friday at the Bank of America in the 26000 block of Bouquet Canyon Road.
We had a grand theft from the 29400 block of Casa Luna Pl. There were seven backflow valves taken from the area of Tesoro Del Valle. These crimes occurred between October 31 and November 11, 2012. If you have any information regarding these thefts please contact the station at 661-255-1121.
On Monday, between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. an outdrive was stolen off of a boat parked in front of a house in the 27700 block of Crookshank Drive. Detectives are enquiring if anyone observed any suspicious activity in this area between the indicated times. This crime probably took a fair amount of time to commit and may have included multiple suspects. If you have any information please contact the station.

We are boating enthusiasts. I can’t believe someone stole an OUTDRIVE (built in) off the transom of a boat….It would have taken at least an hourl or two to disconnect everything!
I used to be afraid to park our little vintage boat (with an ouboard motor) on the street because I feared someone would steal the outboard motor….but never worried about our big cabin cruiser with an inboard motor and outdrive because I never woulda thought anyone would actually have the balls and nerve make off with an outdrive, for crying out loud!
