I count 18. That’s 18 squad cars…
Gotta screen shot it and zoom around. 18 just seems a little much.
That picture is probably just a stock photo they use. That wouldn’t be a response to a stolen tv.
Did you just move there (SCV)? You must be new. This type of response happens a lot. And the picture is in Castaic right there off of Lake Hughes. going to be Lake Hughes and old road. That is funny though because they really shouldn’t send a response like that to a stolen TV. I got a video of them responding twice as hard to a guy who popped somebody’s Tire with a screwdriver.
Think about it. They put up information that they responded to a stolen TV and then they’re going to throw up a picture from last week right around the same location. I doubt it. Kind of like a fire… officers and Fire Personnel respond to a fire let’s post a picture of a fire from last year?
Stock shot.
That seems a little unrealistic. Pretty sure I understand the term but I’ve never heard of stock shot. Would a live shot not be a little more informative? What was this picture with the 18 squad cars related to I wonder?
Guess so
The picture shows fuel prices at over $4 a gallon. Hasn’t been that high in awhile! Picture is from years ago!
Which is BS in itself
They landed a helicopter at the park for a suspected home intruder at a home known to be empty. 18 patrol vehicles for a stolen TV seems reasonable ?.
Only scv Jana Yochim Lesh only in scv
Breathe, breathe
All this drama over one TV in Castaic and a poor choice in stock photos
There’s no drama City just sucks now. But you would have had to have lived in Santa Clarita for many decades to have seen the destruction take place over the last couple of them. Now people are supposed to live there and deal with the aftermath. So Much Death every single day. Car versus pedestrian car versus tree car vs car. People driving while on Facebook in an overpopulated community. The answer is not build more houses. The people that made the mistakes that the people of Santa Clarita have to deal with today are probably deceased
You see Construction, I see devastation. City was founded by a Henry Mayo Newhall. That’s who founded the city so why is Henry Mayo currently located in Valencia? I was born at Henry Mayo and I was born in Newhall. I like to refer to the current Santa Clarita as the Land of Make Believe. 90% of the things you see there are fake as are the people
A cross between Mister Rogers Neighborhood and The Truman Show. The best thing about it all is you can buy a $200,000 house for a million dollars lol
Ppl
Looks like every LASD car in the entire Santa Clarita Valley responding to a TV stolen in Castaic — which is not within our City limits. We don’t get that kind of service within the City. Maybe it was a Sheriff’s Department TV taken which is why they got their panties all in a wad?
Stock photo
That picture is at the old road and lake Hughes Rd. South bound exit.
Things aren’t always what they seem. Often there is more to a story. Our sheriffs do an excellent job when we need them. Have you ever called and they didn’t come racing over?! I love our cops. And boy, am I glad they’re here for us!! On every corner, on any corner.
Did they remember to take the remote?
There goes the neighborhood!
Reminds me of when Al Bundy took the TV off the wall, at Ray’s Bar, for Christmas. He gave it to Kelly. “Most of all; it’s a Ray’s”!~Kelly Bundy
Hilariou, that is where I stayed when I came down and got thatnpattern airplane from you.
The Jekyll or Symphony?
The Symphony, right?
Yes Symphony. I have placed in 3 contests with it so far. A few of the NorCal guys recognize it and we’re friends with the original builder
Shawn Berkheimer, Oh sweet; Congratulation! You know Ralph? I’ve known him forever. We used to race pylon, back in the 80’s and 90’s. Then he got into pattern. I’m glad to hear you are doing well with it. I’m doing well in pylon. I took 2nd place last month in my last race. I raced in the world champs in Oct. I’m heading to the nationals, this coming October. I just blew a rod yesterday in my international class racer. I need to send the engine back to the Netherlands, to be rebuilt by Rob M. Can’t do it ourselves. Only he can do them.
Gas and their time costs more than that damn tv
Free donuts at this TV crime scene? lol
This reminds me of one of those cop TV episodes where crime “A” cause a tons of cops to respond to scene “A”, all the while the real crime is taking place at Scent “B”, wayyyy wayyyyy across the other side of town. hehehe
That 25″ Cable TV has been one of their key selling points for decades. That, and the romantic getaway.
